EUROPEAN FISH FRY 2011

17th Sept. 2011

A Lot of fun at the fry in Crackington haven on last saturday for the Italian crew.
Italian shaper Michele Puliti from ola Surfboards came together with us and bring a couple of his latest works: a stepdeck retro outlined + modern rocker quad and concave deck + flex tail + double flow rails fish/quad.
for further info go to
olasurfboards.com/blog.

Rob Lion from Royal surfboards is a great host and much more a friend. He showed us a couple of demi secret spots to surf alone with him and we had great almost barreling waves.

Actually on saturday the surf was blown up by the wind and we could enjoy the music, art and surfboards inside the pub, sheltered by the annoying wind and shower outside.

TINTAGEL : KING ARTHUR's CASTLE IN CORNWALL

Arthur Mee's "Kings England" commences with "It is a bit of the magic of England and seems to us as wonderful in truth as in imagination." "Its rocks rise sheer from the sea, crowned with green carpets. Cornwall's oldest church still holding services, looks down upon the Atlantic, sweeping in below". "When the wind blows, that we may lean on it, and the sea breaks on million year old granite walls, it will thrill an Englishman as few things do".

The 6th century ‘Arthur’s Stone’ is inscribed with ogham and latin. The stone is alleged to mark the spot near Slaughterbridge, where King Arthur fell mortally wounded after the battle of Camlann.

A. King Arthur's Kitchen
B. Merlin's Cave
C. The Island Bridge
D. The mainland Keep
