JOYFUL ALAIA GOING ON....

still a lot of work to refine but the shape is coming home: rounded rails on nose to classic edged thru the rest of the board. A big fish meets an alaia. I hope to finish and put some oil before next weekend.

No matter how long do it takes, but it's a pleasure working with pawlonia timber. It's a statement: Wooden board is pretty enviro-friend!!!

Routing brand new alaia pawlonia timber. A lot of work to do before being in the water... I deicided for a wider and a bit thicker plank to let me use it in smaller surf. Counterwise it's pretty heavier.
